Do you know which fuels you can use for 2018?

The definition of pump fuel in the MSA’s blue book (page 60) has been updated to include

Pump Fuel
(b) Petrol or Diesel in compliance with FIA Appendix J Art 252, Article 9.

Before the change, MSA approved fuel was limited to an octane rating of 100 RON. The MSA has now aligned the 2018 fuel regulations with the FIA specifications which allow 102 RON, 90 MON, 3.7% oxygen.

This is great news as it will allow you to better tune your race engine for consistency and reliability. It also means that you don’t have to re-map if you are a UK racer that also races in international events.
