During the last few months we have started to move over to fully painted drums for both the 25 and 50lt sizes. The move to white drums came about due to feedback from customers. Our long term black drum had a tin plate handle that in certain conditions were susceptible to corrosion.
Opting for a fully painted drum, although more expensive to produce, has removed this potential issue. A white finish also reflects heat from sunlight better than a black finish, so helps to provide better storage protection for the race fuel.
