Description

DT50 utilizes advanced mPAO synthetic base oils to provide protection for high operating temperature turbocharged engines. Compatible with E85 and water/Methanol injection.

Please Note: 
DT50 was formerly a 15W50 viscosity.
It has been changed to a 10W50. With the discontinuation of Driven FR50 5W50, the Cold Crank Viscosity was lowered from 15W to 10W to accommodate customers using the FR 5W50, who may be concerned about using a 15W in place of the 5W. The 10W viscosity for racing applications now allows DT50 to work for both the 5W50 and 15W50 applications, being in the middle of the cold crank specification.

In racing applications the Cold Crank rating is generally not an issue as it would be for a daily driver used during cold weather months. If you need a 5W50 for more of a street daily driver application please see Driven HP-X 5W50.

DRIVEN DT50 Racing Oil is formulated for High Performance Engines/Racing applications only. This engine oil will NOT MEET any current API or OEM Engine Oil Specifications.

Full Description
Available in 5W-20, 5W-30, 5W-40, 5W-50, 10W-50 grades. There is a potential issue using current API/ACEA-approved oils in high-performance cars, which is worsened if they have been tuned for more power. Standard road oils are designed for long service intervals and have low emissions, which they achieve by including extremely high levels of detergents at the cost of reduced anti-wear chemistry. Your performance modified engine wants the opposite. Changing road oil sooner will help, but it doesn’t solve the issue of low anti-wear chemistry to begin with. Adding ZDDP additives to a high-detergent oil doesn’t work, as the detergent will prevent the extra zinc from doing its job. The Driven Street Performance oils solve this issue. They have much higher anti-wear chemistry at the expense of reduced detergent levels, as they are not designed as long-life service oils. All the Driven oils have been born out of years of race experience, so they are designed to be super strong and not to thin out even under the most extreme conditions.

Aspen

Aspen 2 Fuel

Aspen 2 is alkylate petrol premixed at 50:1 with a premium quality biodegradable 2-stroke oil. Suitable for chainsaws, clearing saws, hedge trimmers, power cutters and other land-based 2-stroke engines. Aspen 2 is virtually free from harmful substances such as benzene, aromatic hydrocarbons or olefins; substances that can cause serious health problems. Aspen Alkylate Petrol also keeps the spark plugs and combustion chamber of your machine cleaner. Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains no ethanol, meaning it can be stored for a long time without any deterioration in quality, which makes your engine easy to start even after long standstill periods. There are numerous environmental benefits, such as reducing the formation of ground-level ozone (smog) by about 40%. The oil in Aspen 2 has been selected and developed for the future. It is fully synthetic with as much as 60% renewable content. It is biodegradable and free from ash and solvents. The oil gives an extremely clean engine and has optimum lubrication characteristics at all engine temperatures.

Aspen 4 Fuel

Aspen 4 is alkylate petrol without oil – suitable for lawnmowers, rotary cultivators, snow blowers, boats and other 4-stroke engines. Ordinary petrol contains ethanol which attracts moisture and can cause engine failures. Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains no ethanol, making it ideal for use in marine environments. To use Aspen Alkylate Petrol in your 2-stroke outboard motor, simply mix Aspen 4 with outboard oil. To minimise the environmental impact, choose a biodegradable oil. Like the Aspen 2, Aspen 4 is virtually free from harmful substances such as benzene, aromatic hydrocarbons or olefins; substances that can cause serious health problems.

BMC Air Filter Kit – Porsche 718 Boxster / Cayman

The panel air filter is commonly referred to as “replacement air filter”. It is installed in the vehicle’s original airbox to replace the OEM air filter. It is made of highly performing materials that allow an increased air flow combined with a more efficient filtration, guaranteeing containment of all impurities from as small as 7 microns (compared to OEM’s 10 microns). Driven DI20 0W-20 Synthetic

Driven’s DI Synthetic Engine Oil is designed specifically for Direct Fuel Injection Engines. The DI oil delivers cutting-edge lubricant technology specifically developed for direct injection engines. The DI oil utilises an advanced additive package designed to reduce abnormal combustion, such as low-speed pre-ignition issues, and protects against soot-related wear. A lower volatility base oil also reduces crankcase vapours and carbon build-up on intake valves. Direct injection and turbochargers make for a powerful combo, but utilising available high torque and low speed can lead to abnormal combustion that not only degrades performance but also causes damage. This low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) occurs when the mixture of air and fuel, injected directly into the combustion chamber instead of the intake port, ignites before the spark and as the piston is still moving upward. The resulting excessive cylinder pressure creates what is known as “knock” in mild cases. Driven’s research has confirmed an oil’s detergent chemistry can impact LSPI, with calcium and sodium increasing and molybdenum compounds decreasing frequency. Therefore, Driven has developed a new line of engine oils that represent the first offerings formulated, tested and proven to protect direct injections engines better than API oils.
